Fresh sap of organic birch, why and how to consume it?
We are happy. The season of harvesting fresh Birch Sap has begun and we will be able to renew our stocks to make our products. The mother essence of Saeve is being carefully collected and this gives us great joy.
And this year, we are once again offering organic fresh birch sap cures to drink. We couldn't miss it! Joy even more multiplied.
We leave a particularly hard winter. We had to stay at home and to be even more sedentary. No outings, more slowness, too much food, perhaps in excess.
It is thus with an immense pleasure that we propose to drink this nourishing liquid with undeniable virtues. It must be said that the fresh Sap of Organic Birch is one of the king ingredients in the composition of our cosmetics. We are proud to be the only brand in the world to offer fresh birch sap in skin care products.
At Saeve, this jewel of nature is associated with another treasure: the enigmatic but no less marvelous mushroom of eternal life: the Organic Chaga. Combined together, these two local ingredients have given birth to our Immunox® Patent, our magical synergy.
But why is it so interesting to do a birch sap cure? Why do you suggest consuming it by drinking when it is already in our products?
It is because it is completely complementary. Elimination, remineralization, anti-oxidation, vitality, energy. We brought it back to you, in our French forests, in season.
Focus on the major ingredient of our products and on the trademark of our founder Pauline and the fundamentals of Saeve.
Ancestral sap with a thousand virtues
Used since the Middle Ages, the Birch has always been used for medicinal purposes. From this ancestral tree, we can use everything: leaves, bark, buds and sap. Depending on the problem, one part will be used more than another.
But what brings us here today is the sap.
The sap is the juice. It is the nourishing beverage that climbs from Mother Earth to bring and water the tree to the top of its branches and nourish it. The sap is the one that prepares the tree to magnify itself for the warm and lively seasons. It is also the sap that repairs the tree from the damage caused by winter.
We are entering the time of year when the pickers silently walk inside the Birch forests of France to harvest it.
In the mist of the clay soil, the pickers will make a hole in the trunks of the Betula trees with a small incipient spin. They will then insert a tube with a pipe, itself connected to a container. As they do so, drops of sap will flow out quietly. A code of good practice must be respected in order not to tire the trees and plunder them completely. We harvest only on old trees and without going to the end of their reserves.
This delicate ballet takes place only 3 weeks a year, in March, at the time of the rising moon. This means that this product is beautiful, rare and precious. It is this sap that we put in our products for your well-being and that we offer you today bottled as a cure.
Why consume fresh Birch Sap?
The birch tree is thus gorged with the resources of the Earth, which nourished it. The sap is the concentrate of these resources. Studies have reported the presence of multiple nutrients in it: calcium, magnesium, silica, zinc, manganese, phosphorus, iron, copper. The concentrations can vary, but it is good to know that all the minerals present in the sap are easily assimilated.
Indeed, we spoke about sugar earlier. The sap is indeed naturally sweet because it is composed of fructose and glucose. We do not add any sugar to the fresh sap we offer. But it is this same sugar, which will promote the assimilation of nutrients.
It is also naturally rich in vitamin C, proteins and amino acids, polyphenols and phenolic acids.
The main property of the Birch sap is called depurative. Indeed, it will activate the diuresis and thus the elimination by the kidney. Consider how well nature is made. Birch sap is harvested just at the time of year when we need it to free ourselves from the toxins accumulated during the winter. It will therefore increase the quantities of water eliminated and promote a detox of the body.
By extension, Birch Sap will have a draining action on water retention, swelling in the legs, high blood pressure and gout. Thanks to its unique composition, it would even bring comfort to osteo-articular problems.
Thanks to its proteins, it will support the cellular renewal. It is very beneficial for our skin to work to regenerate it. It will gradually erase the traces and marks left by acne, dehydration and skin aging.
In view of all its minerals and trace elements, it will help remineralize the body by playing on the acid-base balance. Silica also helps to strengthen hair and nails. It is ideal to find a rosy, fresh, and without imperfections complexion, and goddess hairs in only 3 weeks.
How to consume fresh Birch Sap?
To take advantage of its virtues, it is imperative to choose the purest sap possible. We have added to ours only 1% of organic lime juice as a unique preservative.
We invite you to make a cure in this seasonal transition at the rate of ½ glass of 12,5 cl per day, to be taken with an empty stomach in the morning over 3 weeks. You will need the equivalent of 3 to 4 bottles of our sap to make a complete cure.
Insofar as the sap contains sugars; these sugars may have a tendency to ferment in the bottle. This does not alter the taste or the benefits of the product. Be sure to open your bottles one after the other.
Keep in the refrigerator after opening. And to accentuate the depurative side and the internal sweeping, think of drinking 1.5 liters of water per day to help the kidney in its work of elimination. During this detox, take the opportunity to go to bed early and do not eat too much fat, salt or sugar.
It is not recommended to consume fresh organic Birch sap if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you suffer from renal insufficiency or if you have developed large kidney stones and if you are affected by autoimmune diseases in crisis phase. Do not hesitate to ask your doctor for advice if you have any doubt.
